Pottermore House Pride!
Home Comments F.A.Q. Ask Me RSS

What house are you in?
Ravenclaw!

How do you choose the quotes for each house?
I just take what I know from reading the books and the welcome emails for each house and find quotes that seem to be fitting.

You listed a quote/source incorrectly.
Im sorry. I usually try to find a few mentions of the same source before I post a quote, but it is the internet, and most of the time it’s wrong so that will happen. Let me know (nicely please, no rude/condescending remarks) and I will fix it if you are correct.

Can I submit a quote?
Of course! Here are some things to keep in mind:

  • You can send in a submission through the Ask feature.
  • First, list the quote accurately (make sure spelling/wording is correct and true to the original quote)
  • Next, list the source of the quote (such as the author/artist/band/actor etc…) afterward.
  • Your name will be posted as a link to your blog along with your submission. If your URL changes, it will not be changed in the submission, keep that in mind.

What if I can’t find a source?
Then just list it as anonymous if it’s a commonly used saying.

Will my submission definitely get posted?
No, not every submission will be posted and not all will be posted as soon as they are received. I don’t like to post TOO much, so I only pick submissions that are really fitting for the suggested house listed.

Do you know when Pottermore opens to the general public?
It opened to all in April from what I hear.

Where did you get your layout?

About Me

Hello all!
I don't know about you, but I was tired of seeing things with all these negatives stereotypes.

Not all Ravenclaws are snooty.
Not all Gryffindors are showoffs.
Not all Hufflepuffs are pushovers.
Not all Slytherins are evil.

Every house is amazing, and Pottermore House Pride shows you why.

If you ask a QUESTION/leave a COMMENT it will be posted on the Questions page in order to avoid spamming the blog!
